**Q: How easily will the adhesive come off is it like the 3m hooks that you can pull the tab? New doors dont want to ruin them with sticky goo...,**
A: In our testing, the following instructions helped us avoid paint damage: 
To safely remove lock from door: Take a piece of fishing string and slide it from side to side in a downward motion, behind the base of the lever lock. 
Once the base portion is removed, use Oops® Painter's Choice https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HEIXE4/ to remove the remaining residue.

**Q: How long are the prongs in inches? My handle sticks out quite a ways from the wall**
A: The prongs are 3” long.  Mine looks just like the photo.

**Q: Can it work just as a lock for the door? Not for kids?**
A: Yes, However, if you're on the other side of the lock, you won't be able to get back in. You would be locking yourself out. its a one way lock.
