It’s not only for nappies. It’s an excellent stain remover which I regularly use on both cotton clothes and bedding. If used in conjunction with regular washing powder/liquid in your machine be careful on the quantity of detergent used as it will fill your machine with bubbles if too much of each is added, thus requiring an extra rinse. For curtains, assuming they’re not velvet, I would suggest soaking them in the bath with the Napisan for an hour or so (not too hot though) before wringing out and placing in machine. This will reduce the foaming to a degree too. **Q: What is this like on wool?** A: I would personally not use it on wool... **Q: Can this be used on light coloured clothes, as well as whites, or does it have a bleaching effect? I tend to do a white and lights load.** A: I use it on coloureds as well in a 30° quick wash. It doesn't seem to fad the coloured clothes. **Q: Is it suitable for newborns?** A: Hello Yes I used it as the only washing powder for my newborn . You only need a small 215/20 ml cap full .
