They talk about "direct to stud", but this is glue up product. I tried to find a product page with better pictures and more technical specifications and couldn't find one. I ended up having to put up drywall behind it, and really would have rather had a direct to stud setup. Oh well, it's cheap.Another thing, the description says "high gloss" and it absolutely is not. It's almost a textured finish. I can see this being very difficult to clean. You'll have to use a bristle brush. Plan on spending 30 bucks on glue and silicone.This is going in a rental unit, so I am not too worried about the cosmetics or how easy it is to clean. Bottom line, this is about as cheap as these things get. Very VERY basic. If you're looking for even an ounce of quality and design, look elsewhere.
