    Zip Broken after only 8 weeks!

My son loves this pencil case and I was pleased with it (although a little smaller than I'd anticipated) until today. The zip has completely come away from the casing along the join and it is now unusable.  My son is a gentle boy, this is not from misuse.  It looks like the joint between the zip tape and plastic case was just not secure, it has cleanly come away when he attempted to open it.  I'm dissappointed that I am out of the window for seeking a replacement as he's very upset by it.
