**Q: What are the ingredients?  The last time I tried melatonin, I had horrible sweats !**
A: Had similar issues with the 5mg and 3mg version. I started cutting the 3mg in half and then to a quarter. I figured out that I need only 1mg and about 25 min before going to bed.  So I recommend taking less. Start with the lowest dose 1mg or even half of that and increase slowly to see what does it take to make you feel asleep faster.  The min dose is the best to avoid any or all side effects.  Taking too much causes dizziness, sweats, nightmares, lethargy in the morning and can even cause depression.  All this is amplified in the winter months with less sunshine.  As an avid user for over 5 years, I take 0.75-1mg a night and no more side effects/issues. My son who is 10 also takes 0.5mg to 0.75mg dose and his issues of not being able to sleep at 9:30PM is gone. He falls asleep in 10 minutes and wakes up 9h later with no ill side effects.

**Q: The picture on the bottle does not say timed release or TR, unlike the product title. Is this the regular or timed release version?**
A: The product I have been using, purchased Jun2013, is what is depicted on the bottle you show in your query.  The bottle shown is not a TR product nor did the description indicate that.There is a TR version avail on amazon but I am well satisfied with the non-TR version.

**Q: Is the melatonin USP-certified?**
A: Why don’t you have independent 3rd party testing like Nature Made?

**Q: how large are the tablets?  i have some non sustained release and they are tiny.  I have problems swallowing so are hoping these are still small.**
A: These tablets are a standard size 5mm (round and not oblong in shape) and are very easy to swallow.
