**Q: How big of an area is this product good for?**
A: Not that big.....a small room would be best. Also MAKE SURE THE FILTER IS PLACED WHERE THERE ARE NO OBSRUCTIONS.  I plugged it in by a window sill and found that small bit of wood  was obstructing the air filter's effectiveness.

**Q: How good are these for kitchen odors from cooking onions and other spices?**
A: you need the bigger units for a room the size of a kitchen

**Q: I have birds, and it seems that no matter how clean I keep their cage, around that area still smells. Think this would help?**
A: I think it might. I bought them to keep at work because the business next door is a mechanic and the fumes seep into our unit. It's especially strong in the bathroom and it was gone after I left it plugged in there overnight. I also keep one at home by my cat's litter box.

**Q: with the trueair filter which side should face you the blackside or the blueside**
A: I put the black side facing out (towards me).  My air filters are white on the other side.  What kind of air filter are you going to use?
