After using it for nail applications, it's difficult to clean acrylic from the bristles and when trying to clean, the bristles become frayed. Save your money. The hair is full and thick at the base for a #8 I’m able to pick up a lot of liquid for bbigger acrylic application but not huge where it can become wasteful with products. The only thing I dislike about this brush is the handle design. The metal area does not flush into the rest of the wooden handle. It has a ledge where it keeps catching the skin on my finger.
