It almost seems like there’s a coating on the paper, and the ink seems to soak into the paper very slowly and unevenly. I’ll write a few words that will be very dark, then the rest of the sentence looks paler and sort of washed out - nothing to do with my ink or pen as they do fine on other surfaces.
