Review: Annie Sloan paint is the best. desertcart packaging was terrible - Best paint ever. I’m giving 5 stars because the paint is great. But, the shipping method is awful. Arrived with dents, and bottom of can was banged up really bad. No tape on top, or paper to stop rolling around. . I’m sure that so many cans will be ruined in transit

I used a brown antique wax to get the aged look I was looking for. I've included pictures along the way. The initial project, the paint before the antiquing, post antiquing and in place to see how it blends with a variety of beachy blues. I was able to do this project with one can of paint (some left over too).

If the paint is too thick, add a little water and stir. Always paint a test patch before starting your project. Apply with an Annie Sloan brush. Paint one or two coats. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on conditions.
- SEALING: Chalk Paint should be sealed with Chalk Paint Wax or Chalk Paint Lacquer to protect and finish. Apply wax using a lint-free cloth or Wax Brush. Work the wax into the Chalk Paint and wipe away the excess before leaving to dry. Lacquer can be applied with a brush or roller.

Best paint ever. I’m giving 5 stars because the paint is great. But, the shipping method is awful. Arrived with dents, and bottom of can was banged up really bad. No tape on top, or paper to stop rolling around. . I’m sure that so many cans will be ruined in transit
