Review: A blessing in an age of phablets - This is the perfect form factor; it is positively *delightful* to hold. I am so happy to have a working phone of this size again. The last time I had one with this same form factor was 2014, when I had an extended battery pack attached to my S4 Mini. Like, this phone is just a dream come true. The only major thing it's missing is an aux port, but I can absolutely live without that for everything else I'm getting here. Be warned: I monitored it, and it does communicate a lot with Chinese servers. That's not a surprise: It's a Chinese phone, and by law, Chinese companies have to share data with the government. You can fix this by flashing a custom ROM, which I have done. (This doesn't make the kernel any safer though —it's closed source, in violation of GPL2.) All the same: If the CCP is in your threat model, do not buy a Chinese phone unless you have literally no other option. Unfortunately, this *is* my only option for a current phone that is a size I can use without discomfort, so I must make due. Performance is great! Nothing is sluggish/laggy. The screen runs at 60fps, which is perfectly fine for me; but if you are cursed with being able to see the difference between higher refresh rates, you might not like that. Also, the screen is IPS, so it's not quite as lovely as an AMOLED display; rather, it's the kind of display your PC has. Perfectly acceptable. I tested, and the battery will literally last an entire week if you leave the phone in airplane mode and don't touch it, which is amazing. You could probably get 3–4 days of actual use out of it. So this phone is its own battery pack, which means you can use your phone to repeatedly charge your watch and your earbuds/headphones if you're ever away from an electrical outlet for a prolonged period. Extremely useful if you ever go camping. I'm going to just start carrying a super-short USB cable in my pocket so I can use it like this. Audio quality is good for a phone, albeit mono. It played from about 120Hz to about 16kHz. Cameras are okay, but definitely wouldn't win awards; and their colors are often inaccurate. The stock case sucks. It does not provide a bezel for the screen, it has an unnecessary and unpleasant protrusion right where your ring finger holds the phone, and it does not align well with the fingerprint reader (差不多). The only real purpose it serves is to provide a bezel for the camera. I recommend getting a third-party case if you can. A bezel is very important for protecting your screen, and you *must* protect this one because there will very likely be no replacing it. Warning: I bought this "New" from desertcart, but what I got was Open Box. So buyer beware. Is it perfect? No. But nothing is, and this is pretty dang close. I'm giving it 5 stars overall.
Review: I like it, but the screen should've been amoled - Unfortunately, I've got a stuck pixel in the top left corner, so I'll have to return it when they get some more phones in. Works fine, but it doesn't have that same satisfaction when looking at an amoled screen. Maybe that's preferable to some if they're trying to limit their phone usage. I just wanted a smaller phone so I could reach everything without changing the phone position in my hand, or recruiting my other hand.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best option for small screen phone
*by D***V on January 1, 2025*

Best option for a small screen phone considering 5g is becoming a must. Dual-band GPS feels much more accurate in the city than the single-band with the Jelly Star. Screen is small enough that your fingers can still reach to the other side with one hand. I miss the 3.5mm jack, but modern ones in plastic-bodied phones seem to come loose or short out anyways.
