I purchased this for my 76yo/130lb mother who is wheelchair bound and unable to walk/stand on her own. The sling has a wide back which provides a lot of support and the various handles are stitched securely and allow for the greatest leverage. The sling was also able to fit around me- a 5’11, 275lb, man (although the adjustable, snapping, safety strap was a little snug) - so it is sturdy and able to accommodate a heavier person.

I bought this for my elderly mom to use to help her older disabled husband move about the house. He has suffered eight strokes and counting and can no longer help himself out of bed off a chair, etc. this is used to help move him about the house without the need for a full-time aid.
