Con DDR5 el tiempo de arranque ha aumentado bastante respecto a mi equipo anterior. Además, tuve que entrar en la BIOS y ajustar configuraciones para conseguir un funcionamiento correcto desde el principio, algo que esperaba que viniera mejor configurado de fábrica. Otro detalle molesto es que usando una GTX 1050 Ti no puedo acceder a la BIOS si el monitor está conectado a la gráfica. Solo aparece imagen cuando carga el sistema operativo y para entrar en BIOS tengo que conectar la pantalla directamente a la salida de vídeo de la placa base. Según he leído puede estar relacionado con que la gráfica ya tiene unos años, pero sigue siendo una experiencia poco intuitiva. Entiendo que algunas de estas limitaciones puedan depender de la plataforma AM5 o de la compatibilidad del hardware, pero que el arranque no sea igual o incluso más rápido que mi anterior equipo resulta decepcionante, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que la placa cuesta prácticamente lo mismo que la CPU y mi anterior equipo es de hace 10 años. ## Features - Compatible with AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 series computer processors - 40G USB Lightning - With a built-in USB 4 port that delivers 40Gbps transmission speed - Extended Heatsink Design: Extended PWM heatsink and upgraded circuit design ensure high-end processors work at - 5G network solution: with 5G LAN to deliver network experience - Audio Boost 5: Isolated audio with a high-quality audio processor for the most immersive gaming experience ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DG3HK897 | | Available Memory Slots | 4 | | Best Sellers Rank | 187,529 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 1,756 in Motherboards | | Brand | MSI | | Brand Name | MSI | | CPU Model | Ryzen 7 | | CPU socket | Socket AM5 | | Chipset Family | AMD X870 | | Chipset Type | AMD X870 | | Chipset type | AMD X870 | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Compatible Processors | AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 Series Processors | | Compatible devices | Personal Computer | | Compatible processors | AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 Series Processors | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 620 Reviews | | Graphics Card Interface | PCI Express | | Item Weight | 1.81 kg | | Main Power Connector Type | 24-Pin | | Manufacturer | MSI | | Manufacturer Part Number | X870TMAHAWKWIFI | | Memory Clock Speed | 7800 MHz | | Memory Storage Capacity | 128 GB | | Model Name | Tomahawk | | Model Number | MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI | | Number of Ethernet Ports | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 12 | | Platform | Windows 11 | | Processor Socket | Socket AM5 | | RAM Memory Technology | DDR5 | | RAM memory technology | DDR5 | | Ram Memory Maximum Size | 256 GB | | System Bus Standard Supported | PCIe 5.0 | | Total HDMI Port | 1 | | Total PCIe Ports | 1 | | Total USB Ports | 13 | | UPC | 824142380499 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MSI - **CPU model:** Ryzen 7 - **CPU socket:** Socket AM5 - **Chipset type:** AMD X870 - **Compatible devices:** Personal Computer - **Compatible processors:** AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 Series Processors - **Memory clock speed:** 7800 MHz - **Model name:** Tomahawk - **Platform:** Windows 11 - **RAM memory technology:** DDR5 ## Images ![MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk Gaming WiFi Motherboard AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 Series Processors, AM5, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, M.2 Gen5, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 40Gbps, HDMI/DP, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5Gbps LAN, - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81nfqnOn8JL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent buy *by A***N on 13 July 2026* Looks great and is top notch quality, can't go wrong with msi ### ⭐⭐ Buen hardware, pero experiencia inicial decepcionante y arranque más lento de lo esperado *by A***O on 17 June 2026* Compré esta placa pensando que al actualizar el equipo todo iría claramente a mejor, pero mi experiencia inicial no ha sido tan positiva como esperaba.
