The face is very easily readable and the yellow on the numbers and hands is a very nice mustard yellow on the warm side. I also really like the bubbled crystal the watch has again keeping with a classic look. I tried to buy another one of these but before I could they sold out here on desertcart and I found out these watches go upwards of $120-$150 else where. So if you get it here on desertcart you're getting a good deal, its worth every penny you paid for it. Also it has a nice indiglo blue when you push on the crown. Review: Trench watch you can wear every day - These are a real cool reproduction of a trench watch from ww1. You know like the one Captain Koons in Pulp Fiction kept up his...keister fir 2 years in hanoi? Anyways....a real antique trench watch is scarce and expensive. The company Vario makes a reproduction but it costs several hundred dollars and is a crowdfunded product which is a problem for some folks. This Timex version looks the part but is a fraction of the price and has the convenience of being quartz so you don't have to wind it and bonus, It has an Indiglo backlight.
