Not sure what to do with the plastic shopping bags which supermarkets sell to you to pack your purchases in. I have quite a few, which are now redundant with my latest buy a ' jute shopping bag '. This bag together with a pack of strong cotton bags now serve the purpose of getting groceries home . They will last longer than the plastic bags, cut the plastic from our seas and hedgerows and will prove far cheaper than the supermarket kind.
