This is the BEST powder ever for heat rash or for preventing diaper ... *by K***I on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2015* This is the original caldesene powder. I can't get it in the U.S. anymore. I was thrilled to see it on Amazon The caldesene powder in the U.S. now has zinc in it. I am allergic to zinc. Anyway, this is the best powder ever for heat rash or for preventing diaper rash. I used it on my son in the 80s per his pediatrician's advice. He NEVER had a rash. Now, he is now using it on his daughter. Great stuff!!! OK......2 years since this review. I also use it in the folds of my skin/under breast to prevent heat rash. I am going to order more of it. It does contain some talc powder for those of you that do not want talc. I suspect that is why we cant get it in the U.S. anymore. Just glad that I found it on Amazon!!! It is worth every penny. Heat rashes hurt. This stuff fixes them with calcium undulate (lol spelling may be off on this one) Also, I have read that CORN STARCH actually PROMOTES the growth of bacteria. I bought this in a little market in Galway while in Ireland back in October because of a rash (damn thighs rubbing together). I was essentially looking for the smallest container possible because we were half way through our vacation and I wanted to make sure I wasn't tossing a huge thing of powder if it didn't fit in our carry-ons. That and if it wasn't really effective I didn't want to have a ton of it kicking around. This powder was/is amazing. I have REALLY sensitive skin (which is why I hit the baby isle first off) and this was the smallest container the store had. This is lightly medicated (they have others that have more active ingredient in it), super fine, and is unscented (although it has a really nice light fragrance to it, not like the stuff we have state side which is all so strong!). Cleared up my chub rub in a day! I just ordered a 4 pack to use on our soon to arrive baby as I was just running out of the tiny 2.5 oz bottle I got last fall.
