Review: Great Camera for the price - I was looking for a no glow IR camera that was invisible to the human eye and found this camera after quite a bit of research. Most of the no glow cameras were twice or three times as much so I was a bit apprehensive. But, after some testing I'm very happy with it. I set it up beside another proven camera and it triggered every time. Most images were center frame. Pros: 1) The price is great. 2) The audio was excellent! Way beyond any of my other cameras and even distant or low volume sounds were captured by the camera. 3) Exposure is adjustable for different locations and will auto adjust mid video if necessary. Medium setting seems to work the best for me so far. 4)LED's invisible to the human eye. This camera is totally undetectable at night. No red glow visible at all. 5) Clear night time photos and video. 6) I like that it uses full size SD cards so I'm not fumbling around with a tiny micro card in the woods. I will say that it needs a pretty fast SD card though. I used a class 10 card first and noticed some stutter in the audio. I switched to a faster A2 card and no more problems. I think many of the negative reviews are from people who are using slower or incompatible cards. If you are getting partial photos or weird video/audio artifacts switch to a quality card with a transfer speed over 30mb like a U3, V30 or faster if you plan to do a lot of video. Sandisk has never let me down. Just because a card works in one make of camera doesn't mean it'll work in all of them. Cons: 1) Bit rate of the video reveals it is on par with 1280x720p even though the video settings allow for 1920x1080p video. Not uncommon but disappointing. In all fairness, the description says 1296p not 1920p (though it lists 1920x1080p setting in the description) It is typical for a camera in this price range and not a deal breaker. 2) My biggest gripe seems like the most trivial but it is the on/off switch. Every other camera has "off" all the way left and "on" all the way right. "Settings" is in the center position. They are easy to turn on and off with gloves because you can just push it all the way over. THIS camera has "On" in the center position, which means I'm going to have to remove gloves and be careful to only slide the switch one click every time I turn it on. That is going to be irritating every time I check the camera.
Review: Nice cameras worth the $ - Very nice cameras for the price... Easy set up and great pics

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice cameras worth the $

Very nice cameras for the price... Easy set up and great pics

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Motion Detection not working
*by S***. on October 16, 2022*

I will be reviewing this model (A3S) to the one I had before (Victure HC200). After opening the box and setting it up, I noticed it needed new firmware (6.x). It came with 3.x. When trying to load the new firmware, the camera displayed “Invalid File: ROM_APP”. I made sure I did it right several times, even factory setting the camera. So, I decided to contact the manufacturer as they claim 24/7 support on their website. Curiously no phone number was listed, only Email. So, I sent them an Email but received no reply after waiting quite some time. [UPDATE: I did receive an Email a day later saying "We regret that V3.0 and V6.0 are two different series and cannot by upgraded to each other, the highest version of the V3.0 series is the V3.0.59". It would have been nice if this was mentioned on their website. I will be testing the camera again with the latest V3.0 series firmware and will update this review if necessary] I decided to go ahead and test the camera just the way I received it without the firmware update. I set it up with high sensitivity as I needed detection for about 50 feet. This camera claims 82 feet detection range. It was easy to setup and the camera and video were much better than the old camera I had however, the audio sounded a bit muffled and not as good as the old trail cam. The motion detection was all over the place. Sometimes It would trigger on simple tree limb movement 30 feet away but would not detect me walking 10 – 90 feet away directly in front of the camera. The only good video I got of myself was when I walked in front of the camera at about 15 feet away and stopped for a few seconds. I then turned off the side motion sensors so that only the forward facing one was active. I then walked in front of the camera from 5 feet to 100 feet once every 10-15 minutes over a period of several hours. I ended up having about 15 videos of only the trees. Not a single video was captured of myself during that time frame. [UPDATE] - I changed the rating to 4 stars, and I will be keeping this as it is now working well after my 2nd test, less 1 star for mediocre audio compared to my previous trail cam. The audio is good enough. Left camera on for 1 full day and night with high sensitivity. Captured about 50 good quality videos of various people walking and a pesky coyote for several hours overnight with no apparent false triggers even when the wind was blowing the tree branches. Range of capture was between 15 feet and 90 feet. 3 differences that made the camera go from bad to good between the 1st and 2nd test. 1. I got the latest Firmware for my series (3.x). Tip: look at what version you have in the menu. If it starts with 3.x, you have the 3 series. If it starts with 6x, you have the 6 series. 2. Temperature. Temperatures are in the lower 70s now. Temperatures were in the upper 90s to lower 100s when I first tested it. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but if the camera is solely relying on the Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) to detect motion, then it makes sense to me that it won’t work when the outside temperature is close to body temperatures. 3. Angle. I tilted the angle slightly down towards the area I wanted to survey. Again, not sure if this has any effect on motion detection.
