Strong handle, great head for chopping roots. The extra weight in the shovel makes digging in hard ground easier.  The flatter head makes it easy to dig deep post holes. It is a more expensive shovel but worth the money, professional grade.

Best shovel you will own hands down. You can chop through roots and anything else you might come across without the handle cracking or breaking. I will never buy another shovel.
