I was able to go around the pan with a silicone spatula to loosen it up a bit, and then opened the springform all the way, and the ring just comes off easily. To remove the cheesecake from the insert pan, I just took a long narrow spatula and went in gently between the cake and the pan, and it came out easily and pretty to serve! **Q: What is the inside diameter of the pan?
