Easy Street Crafts unique "Square" Hoop-Frames are perfect for stitching and framing. Easy to use, this Hoop-Frame is a two-part, red-colored frame. It is lightweight, comfortable to hold and keeps fabric taut. A square embroidery hoop, more practical than a round embroidery hoop, gives more stitching space. With a square hoop, you can stitch a whole design without having to move the fabric, you can stitch in the corners and there are no screws to catch threads on. Hoop-Frames can be used over and over for stitching but they can also frame your finished stitchery. After the stitchery is framed you can embellish the frame with ribbons, buttons, bows, ruffles, laces, cords and other trims.

I was looking for an embroidery hoop but not this.  I returned it.  Still looking for an embroidery hoop that does not require "pinching" or "screwing" it tight.

Fast delivery given it had to go US to UK, and totally worth the wait. It's a nice bright red, with a wood grain texture on the front for when used as a frame, but it makes for a great 'square hoop' for working in too! fabric is held very taut and the frame is comfortable to hold for longer stitching sessions.The only thing is, because of how it fits together to hold the fabric, it can take a bit effort to snap the pieces back together with the fabric in, or take the pieces apart again to take the fabric out but that's the same for taking the snaps of a Q-Snap so hardly much of a downside.Overall, great for those projects too small for a Q-Snap type frame and too large or oddly shaped for a hoop! It might just become my favourite working frame all round, even
