It’s basically menthol + zinc oxide in an ointment base that includes calamine and lanolin — so it’s thick, closer to a paste than a gel, spreads thickly, goes on pink and dries white. I have digestive issues and this the ONLY thing I’ve found that relieves the itching + burning sensation I sometimes get when I overdo my detox tea, eat too much fat/ spicy food, or drink too much caffeine or alcohol (don’t judge me). Better than Tucks pads, Preparation H, aloe vera, coconut oil or A+D first aid ointment. To apply, I fold a few sheets of toilet paper, wipe, and 1-2 minutes later my soul is at peace again.
