A: The difference is basically that the booklet includes different recipes. The jar is exactly the same! :)

**Q: Can you clean the crock in the dishwasher ?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is the lid glass also what is the weight made of**
A: The lid is made of glass and the weight is made of ceramic.

**Q: Are the white bits made of plastic?**
A: The bottom part is food grade silicone, and the top part is plastic, but it's polypropylene, which is food grade, food safe and BPA free. Additionally, the plastic parts should never be directly touching the fermenting foods. Let us know if you have any other questions!

These are fabulous and I didn’t realise when I bought them (2) that they included weights! The pack came with a great instruction/recipe guide and chalk pencil to bark up the jar.
