They look beautiful for framing finished projects and they also work well for stitching. I normally use qsnaps to stitch but I wanted to do a project that was too small for them so I just stitched it in this hoop I was going to frame it in and it kept the tension very well. And don't believe the reviews saying the hook is off centered on the oval frame. It's a flexible piece of rubber... just rotate it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best way to finish an embroidery project. *by S***C on April 20, 2020* I've wanted to order these for a while, but didn't know how worth it the extra money would be to spend on these over regular wood hoops.. i openned the package and was immediately sold. I'm already going to be ordering another set after I'm done this review. This is the only way I will finish my cross stitch patterns from now on. They do have a little shine to them because they are made out of rubby plastic, but they look so much better than regular hoops. Much classier and cleaner and having an actual hoop to hang it up with is so much better too. Why not? Holding it while embroidering works and feels exactly the same as the traditional wooden hoops.
