I set it up for video and pictures as I have never used the video function on any trail cam. As for the video, crystal clear. My wife & I couldn't believe the quality, however, I left the microphone on and it makes a crackling sound over the audio. I meant to cut that off but didn't. The photos, crystal clear. It is sensitive so I did get some "blank" photos and videos. I believe I just need to plan out were it's pointed better. I got more actual photos than wind, branches, etc. FYI: The "big name" cameras I've been buying are in the same price range.
