Maybe not suitable for more advanced reef tanks but a fish only tank is absolutely fine. Review: The Best for Me By Far. - Been using this salt mix for years (5 times bought on desertcart) after trying a few other brands inbetween, but this one I settled on. The price is really good (keep checking as it does drop to Β£50 (or so) which is really cost effective for 20kg, compared to kilo packs from shops). Mixes really easy (I premix in a 50L plastic drum, running airstones overnight, to ensure a good aerated mix for water changes, but have done smaller amounts by bucket in the past. Mixes in minutes pouring one bucket of it, into another bucket, to speed mixing up). Salt is usually in a plastic bag, inside the tub, which is ideal for preventing moisture getting in & clumping the mix. Tub is also really handy afterwards for all sorts of things, including transporting fish, instead of in bags. I also store "fish gear" in them to prevent equipment getting mixed up with household items like cleaning brushes, towels, sponges etc. Not had a damaged delivery so far (touch wood!)
