T-Rex Heavy Duty Waterproof and Repair Tape provides tough, waterproof adhesion for a wide range of general purpose or heavy duty repairs. From repairing a rip in an above-ground pool or temporarily stopping a leak in a water pipe to applying underwater and into cracks and rough, dirty surfaces, this waterproof tape is strong and durable to last longer. Formulated with a rubberized butyl adhesive and waterproof backing to withstand extreme weather and temperatures, T-Rex Heavy Duty Waterproof and Repair Tape's UV-resistant formulation also won’t break down under harsh sunlight.

Review: Very Tough Water-Resistant Tape - This tape has a very heavy and strong outer layer of plastic material, that has some of the strongest adhesive that I have experienced. The outer layer appears to be be very water resistant and should make an excellent water proofing or water leakage repair material. Examining the outer plastic body of the tape leads me to believe it will resist sun-related deterioration for an extended period of time. After applying the tape to a smooth surface, like PVC pipe, you will find it bonds so tightly that it is very difficult to remove, at least after setting up for a day or two. For an easy to use, water proof material designed to prevent water penetration or water leaks, this tape would be hard to beat. It would also be suitable to join smooth surfaced materials together, as this a very tough binding agent.

well, obviously as soon as it gets wet it does not work- bc its tape. "duh" . then i turned off the water, taped the pipes, turned the water back on and it leaks just the same. soooo it didn't work for me at all. kinda think duct tape would have been better.
