Introducing the Tapo Smart Lighting Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch, Dimmer, 3-Way Kit. Review: Probably my favorite Homekit 3 way switch - Probably the best 3 way switch I have used that works with Apple Homekit. Mind you I haven't ever used the most popular branded HomeKit switch brand made by Lutron. But for someone who wants two physical switches that can be placed in a 3 way circuit, I don't think you can find a better option. You do have to be mindful of the instructions explaining how to wire the switches up depending on how the line/load wires come into the switch boxes. It's incredibly easy to install though, and the dimmer function is also fantastic. I first connected everything up and immediately tried out the dimmer to find that my lights only worked for the first 4 or 5 dimming settings while the rest did nothing. I was a little bummed but figured I could work around that, and then when I went to set up the switch in the app it actually had a section specifically for configuring the dimmers to work with your specific lights by calibrating them. After doing that everything works perfectly! I only have 1 3 way circuit in my house, but if I had more, I wouldn't hesitate to simply purchase these for those areas too. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly encourage others to give this a shot.
Review: Works great with my Matter network - These light switches were a great price to buy in bulk. Though I still use the Tapo app for initial setup, it has been great to have the ability to add these to my existing Home Assistant and Google Home ecosystems via Matter.

Probably the best 3 way switch I have used that works with Apple Homekit. Mind you I haven't ever used the most popular branded HomeKit switch brand made by Lutron. But for someone who wants two physical switches that can be placed in a 3 way circuit, I don't think you can find a better option. You do have to be mindful of the instructions explaining how to wire the switches up depending on how the line/load wires come into the switch boxes. It's incredibly easy to install though, and the dimmer function is also fantastic. I first connected everything up and immediately tried out the dimmer to find that my lights only worked for the first 4 or 5 dimming settings while the rest did nothing. I was a little bummed but figured I could work around that, and then when I went to set up the switch in the app it actually had a section specifically for configuring the dimmers to work with your specific lights by calibrating them. After doing that everything works perfectly! I only have 1 3 way circuit in my house, but if I had more, I wouldn't hesitate to simply purchase these for those areas too. Install was a bit tricky but once I read the instructions it was easy!! Toggle switch but push button on to to turn on or off. Took some getting used to but now I love em’! Plus a built in dimmer!
