I have a extendable camera stick that has the same fitting as the scope so I'm already to go. this stops most of the movement and I can get very good video or stills from the added stability.I dont think the night vision is up to scratch but saying that, viewing the stars at night was just amazing.the only trouble that I have is the battery life runs very low because I can not stop using it.than you ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars by far the worst thing I have ever bought *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 July 2018* This is a truely aweful product......... by far the worst thing I have ever bought.This was very low cost and, in optics, that usually means poor performance so I didn't expect too much..........The promise is that this monocular in combination with your mobile phone will give much better images of distant objects than would be possible using the camera alone relying on 'digital zoom' which we all know gives very poor images. Bird watching is an obvious use.Well, the first picture is a bird feeder in my garden taken with my G4 phone at maximum digital zoom. No brilliant but OK.The second picture is the best of 5 attempts with the monocular plus the same camera without optical zoom. Massive improvement? No....... truely vile in every way.The third picture is of a brick wall and shows the two main problems with this product:Firstly, only about one third of the image is actually in focus. The lens is so poor that only the central portion is capable of creating an even mediocre image; the rest is distorted and blurred.Secondly, the lower half of the image is totally washed out by flare. It was a sunny day and wherever I pointed the scope, the lower half was washed out by light from the sky. I tried using a cardboard tube as a 'lens hood' but the improvement was only minor as can be seen in picture 4 of an upstairs window.I have a 'toy' telescope which came out of a Christmas cracket and optically it is at least as good as this Monocular Telescope.I have given it one star............... because I can't give it ZERO or MINUS 5 which would be more appropriate.Have I got a 'dud' which slipped through the quality control (if any) or is this what can be expected if you are silly enough to expect £14.99 to buy a useable item?
