The collar itself is a silicone feeling material that is waterproof and easy to clean. Its rechargeable so no need to worry about batteries. The remote can be worn around your neck so it doesn't get lost and the range is perfect for our needs. I like that that this works for a wide weight range so that we can use it in both of our dogs and we don't have to buy to separate collars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Above and beyond *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2018* I bought this on the heels of a really horrible spray anti bark collar. From the very first time I have used it has performed exactly as advertised and better. Maybe I got a freaky strong battery, but using only the sound function (90%of the time) I can get 4 full days of battery life. My dog only requires the beeping. She responds to it each and every time.
