**Q: Is there room in the bag for a couple smoke and or hand flares?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can you use these off shore more than 10 miles out?**
A: I would think there would be a larger model for that far out. This is about the size of a shotgun shell. I have never fired it thankfully but wouldn’t count on it to go high enough for what you asked
