I didn't expect it to lather so nicely, but then I let it sit for 45 secs. All of the debris lifted and I wiped it away with a wet rag. I let boot dry for an hour. First I heated the oil to 75° before I applied it. So easy to wipe on and I used a horse hair brush to shine. The heel was black as the mat on the floor.
