SKU 505 would be the Gator Guard you need. You can go to their website and just use Mercury. Not many 1980 around but if by strange chance it didn't fit being not enough skeg left to drill two holes, you send it back. Gator has made it along with all motors to keep these skegs almost 100% universal. **Q: Will this work on a mercury 60 command thrust?** A: I put it on a 2006 Merc 40 4 stroke I only had about 2 inch of skeg left that broke off worked awsome, I would buy again. **Q: Will this fit a 2016 Mercury verado pro 4 stroke 200hp?** A: Don't know my experience, it fit my 2000 Mercury Optimax 200 HP very well.
