The batteries seem to be acceptable replacements, they charged up and powered the drill for the little that I used it - the Makita’s overload circuit kept kicking in and I remembered why I had bought a replacement drill with more power. I ultimately donated the drill and batteries to The Salvation Army so I cannot speak to their longevity.

When I initially installed these batteries they would not work if they were fully inserted and the clasp closed, but after repeatedly installing and reinstalling they now work. I haven't used them in a project yet but did run each of them over 10 minutes which should be good enough for most of my tasks. Don't appreciate the repeated requests to write a review.
