I love seeing other people with this on too ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great over lipstick for glossy look *by F***1 on 10 July 2026* I have been looking for alternatives to my usual makeup brands, as they are becoming increasingly unaffordable. I thought that this ELF Tinted Lip Oil would be a much more economical choice. The shade looked the closest match to my usual brand and at nearly a quarter of the price. When the lip oil arrived, it did look a pretty good match. I always wear lip oil on top of my lipstick for a more glossy look. When I opened the tube, it did have a strong minty smell, which I found a bit off putting. The applicator is the same as the one of my usual brand, so I found it easy to apply. The result looked exactly the same as my usual brand. The texture was fine and it lasted well, I just reapplied it after I had eaten. It did not make my lips dry. I don’t usually apply lip oil when I’m not wearing lipstick, so I can’t comment on that.
