It's cute while still being professional enough with the length (i'm 5'3). The length is a little longer on me than the model. The neckline is a lot more higher up and closed than the picture but that's a good thing if you're looking to wear this in a professional manner. The ruched part aids in hiding a belly, though it is a bodycon so there's no way to completely conceal it, especially from a side profile. There's a bit of extra fabric in the chest area that sticks out near my armpits. I would say size up because I'm usually a medium and sometimes a large in dresses and I got the XL because I didn't want it to be supertight and i'm glad I did because with my belly it would have been unflattering if I went any smaller. There is a train. The sequins and the zipper are really the place where you can see why this dress is cheap compared to other dresses. I love this dress though! Well sewn.
