With an 80% cat response rate—higher than traditional catnip—this organic powder promotes playful energy or calming relaxation. Packaged in a reusable tin, it offers long-lasting enrichment for your cat’s daily fun and anxiety relief. ## Description Silvervine is a natural alternative to catnip that's even more intense! Many cats love Silvervine, even if they have no reaction to catnip! A 2017 study found that one in three cats do not respond to catnip but that 80 percent of all cats respond to the essential oils in Silvervine. For cats who have no reaction to catnip, it is an excellent alternative! If your cat already loves catnip, Silvervine can be a great addition to keep them active! To make our natural Silvervine Powder, we finely grind up the dried fruit of an climbing ivy like plant called the Actinindia Polygama- more commonly known as Silver Vine due to the distinctive color of its leaves. The silvervine fruit- related to the kiwi- contains two natural olfactory attractants, making it more enticing than traditional catnip to many cats. - Our Meowy Janes Silvervine is all natural, safe and healthy. Silvervine promotes play and helps to relieve anxiety and boredom in house cats and can be used daily as an enrichment tool. It is non addictive, and as with catnip, cats will know when they have had enough and lose interest. - Sprinkle a small pinch on a toy, scratching post, or wherever you want to encourage your cat to play. They will feel the effects for anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes. -Typical behaviors include rolling, chin rubbing, meowing, drooling and licking. Some cats under the influence of silvervine become kitten-like with tons of happy energy. Others become more relaxed and will chill out in an almost dreamlike state. Review: 4 out of 5 cats approve! - I have 5. We are only on day 2, and they are driving me nuts wanting more. After I sprinkled some around, they played hard and the two factions played together. My oldest went and had a long nap. This stuff is better than nip and wayyyyy less messy. Review: Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder - My cats wouldn't touch it. ## Features - 🐱 STRONGER THAN CATNIP - Studies show that nearly 80% of cats react to Silvervine and that cats have a stronger and longer lasting reaction than to catnip. - 100% ALL NATURAL SILVERVINE - Organic, No Additives, and Processed in the USA from the raw fruits. - KEEPS CATS ACTIVE & RELIEVES ANXIETY! Some cats become kitten-like with tons of happy energy. Others become more relaxed and will chill out in an almost dreamlike state. - GREAT VALUE: 45 Grams in a reusable tin will last many many play times! The granules are perfect to run toys, scratchers, and beds or just to sprinkle on the floor. - 🐉THE CATNIP OF ASIA: Silvervine is enjoyed by cats throughout Japan and China where the vine natively grows in the mountainous regions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07V47DHQF | | Batteries Included | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,765 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #28 in Catnip Treats | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (1,257) | | Date First Available | 10 April 2022 | | Item Weight | 55 g | | Package Dimensions | 8.2 x 7.3 x 3.2 cm; 55 g | | Quantity | 1 | | batteries required | No | ## Images ![Meowy Janes Silver Vine for Cats - 45 Grams of Powder - All Natural Catnip Alternative - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91TmCFBoV1L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does your product come from China?** A: Don’t know, but I used this to mix with Catnip for several years and never had an issue. I no longer buy this though **Q: Where is this made?** A: We make our Silvervine Powder in New Jersey, USA. **Q: Your label says it contains two natural attractants. Besides silver vine, what is the second ingredient?** A: Silver vine contains two naturally occurring attractants: actinidine and dihydroactinidiolide, in addition to the already occurring ingredients that are similar to nepetalactone. Catnip only contains nepetalactone, which is why silver vine is more potent than catnip. **Q: From what country is the raw material sourced?** A: It only grows in China and Japan. RAW plant material NOT from US. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5 cats approve! *by S***E on 20 August 2026* I have 5. We are only on day 2, and they are driving me nuts wanting more. ABSOLUTE BEST!! *by C***L on 4 June 2026* Hands down! The best money spent! I bought a tight fitting tin can, added this plus their catnip together, then put old worn out catnip toys inside, then another layer of each and locked it up for a week. It Totally refreshed the toys! We will now start recycling toys always having some stored and cooking..to reabsorb their happy fun scent for fun play dates instead of buying over sane toy mice over and over again!! But warning...kepp stored in a drawer. A ziplock bag isn't good enough! Their products are fresh and strong!! A solid BUY! ## Frequently Bought Together - Meowy Janes Silver Vine for Cats - 45 Grams of Powder - All Natural Catnip Alternative - Meowy Janes Whole Silvervine Fruit- Dried Silvervine Gall Fruit- Actinidia Polygama - Cat Toy - Cat Treat - Potaroma 3 Pack Natural Silvervine Sticks Cat Toys, Catmint Silvervine Blend Sticks, Catnip Kittens Chew Toys Teeth Cleaning, Matatabi Dental Care Cat Treat Edible Kitty Lick Toys, Package May Vary --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/679353872-meowy-janes-silver-vine-for-cats-45-grams-of-powder](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/679353872-meowy-janes-silver-vine-for-cats-45-grams-of-powder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
