The coasters by Smacc seemed ideal. It really was the hexagonal design that appealed to me.The coasters are available in 11 colours so there should be something for everyone. I opted for ivory. The coasters arrived in a set of 8 in their own well-designed box. The presentation is lovely so these would make a perfect little gift.The coasters are approximately 10cm from edge to edge and around 3mm thick. It's just the right thickness. They are made from 100% merino sheep wool which makes them environmentally friendly. They are very contemporary looking and would add texture to any room. I like the fact that the wool felt provides a nice grip and prevents the coasters from sliding about. At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of fabric coasters as I thought they'd stain in no time. I like the fact that they are washable. Bearing in mind that they are woollen, I'd probably go for a wool-cycle when laundering them or hand wash them entirely.I'm really pleased with my find and would recommend these to anyone who is looking for sustainable, yet stylish coasters that don't break the bank.
