Review: One Root is Definitely Worth the Higher Price Tag! - I don’t like honey. This is not honey. This is delicious, amazing, yummy, dreamy, creamy liquid. I have never had a honey I liked until this one. Even trying other organic, raw, Canadian honey. My daughter suggested I try the Peace River honey and so I did as it’s less expensive and proudly Canadian too. It has a very sour end note to it which is certainly not your friend in the hibiscus tea I’m trying to use up as that is also sour. I had my husband who doesn’t just not like honey, but who actually hates honey do a taste test between the two yesterday. He cautiously gave them both a sniff and said he already knew mine would be better just by the smell of it. He bravely ventured on and tried them both and of course One Root won out. This is the only honey I’ve ever liked. I could literally eat this like ice cream. It’s also a great hiccup remedy. If you have the hiccups just swallow down a spoonful and they are immediately gone. One Root is definitely worth the higher price tag! I’m going to try it in the hibiscus tea today and see if it helps to improve the flavour any. I may update on that later.

**Q: This boney notes antibiotic free but doesn't mention pesticides. Are pesticides used for these bees?**
A: Hi Rebecca. Pesticides are not used for bees but rather on the crops that are grown on the farms where the bees might travel to. Oneroot wildflower honey is from the woods and not from farms. Also, farms nearby are organic farms. It's one of the cleanest honey you can find. I hope that helps.

A: Hi, it is unfiltered. It's only minimally strained to strain out big particles and bee parts. :)

**Q: What kind of flowers are in the wild flower honey and does it vary from jar to jar? And which flower is predominant?**

This varies season to season and beeyard to beeyard.
It's a fairly even mix of aster, goldenrod, alfalfa, clover, thistle, dandelion, etc.

**Q: Is it actually unheated and unfiltered?**
A: .....I can tell ya that it has not been heated. Unfiltered at the minimum, to just get the broken 🐝 parts, and such.  This was my first time trying this brand/location, et.  Not nearly sweet enough for me tho. Rather bland actually. You betch'ya buddy.

I don’t like honey. This is not honey. This is delicious, amazing, yummy, dreamy, creamy liquid. I have never had a honey I liked until this one. Even trying other organic, raw, Canadian honey.
