I mostly use these to trim the laminate I use to protect my drawings. Now, rather than trying to spin a pair of scissors around to make 2mm cuts and trying to keep each line perfectly straight, I now use a cutting board with guide lines and these tiny blade which work MUCH better on those little fine cuts. It took me a moment to get used to how much pressure was required and the speed I move at so I don't stutter but I also don't rush and get wobbly lines, but now that I'm accustomed to the process I'm getting much more precise results that require fewer times going back to make corrections to mistakes.
