My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as “combination” skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so there’s no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as “waterproof” so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesn’t feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. It’s hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I'm used to (both of which are good).
