It is not a pure sine wave generator. The Machine details on page 5 of the manual says 'Output type - modified sine wave' (although haven't acytuall put a scope on it) Note also the manual says it is for an 1100W generator and the details say 'Max output power 1100W, Continuous power 1000W' even though the manual states it is for the IG1200i. Don't know which is true?? 1100W also shown in photo of the device in the Amazon advert. (Would have added an image of the manual page but only video formats supported???) **Q: Does this generator throttle back to idle when there is no load?** A: It has Eco button that slows the Revs down when not be used. **Q: Anyone know why this would fail to keep running? Primed struck up then dies out in minutes. I have checked fuel air and spark but nothing seems wrong** A: Try removing. The Pipe to camb. As sound not getting enough petrol. **Q: will this run a 110 v drill** A: Well. It runs my 700 Watt microwave Which peaks 1100/ 1150. On start up. I've been using generators for 30yrs and know what to expect. I expect a change in the tone of the engine when it goes under load but the change in tone here, when under a load of only 600w, let's me know that the gennie is struggling!. After only 15hrs of running (10 x 1.5 hrs) it began to falter and cut out. After 20 hrs the full quota of oil has completely run out. I'm gutted. Avoid avoid avoid.
