**Q: Only had this bin for a year. The sensor has gone can you buy a new lid**
A: This is my second bin. My first one we did but a new lid.

**Q: Does the lid shuts automatically when you wave your hand near it?**
A: No it shuts automatically after 5 seconds when opened by waving hand in front of sensor.  unless you press open Button then you need to press shut button.

**Q: Can I use an adapter with this bin?**
A: Do not buy. Auto mechanism stops working after a handful of uses

**Q: The switch is broken on ours**
A: You can buy a new lid
