My airlocks are getting overflowed into during fermentation.** A: How far up did you fill your jugs? Also, how much yeast did you add? I used the airlocks here. **Q: The bungs wont stay in place. They keep popping back up during fermentation. Am I doung something wrong or are they too big?** A: You probably need to dry the stopper and the inside of the bung so there is good traction. This works for me. **Q: why are these cheaper than just "water" gallon jugs??? Nothing looks different.** A: I can't answer as to the why? I have over 15 of them and constantly have all of them in use. They are a quality product, heavy duty and durable, for glass. I have not had one fail.
