Like others have said, it is really soft and will melt in your hand. I solve that by keeping a bar in the fridge. That way, when I want a bite of this luscious chocolate, it's firm enough to cut off a bite. If I want more than 1 bite, IE a full serving of 4 squares, I simply place the 4 squares on a plate and cut off half a square at a time. It may not be super dark for some people, but it's plenty dark and quite rich for me. A whole square would be too much at once for me. I like to let 1/2 square melt in my mouth to nothing as opposed to chewing it.
