It works wonderful
This was a replacement from my old one. It works great but the price is too much. Makes a wonderful Rotisserie Chicken. I missed this in my kitchen to be able to make my melt in your mouth Chicken. The price is triple then when Mr. Forman originally produced this.

The best cooking appliance in my kitchen
First - you need a space to store it. I keep a ball of twine inside. Skewer a 5 lb chicken. Use the twine to truss the wings and legs. Line tray with foil. Brush the chicken with butter or olive oil mixed with herbs/garlic/Kitchen Bouquet/Jerk season/BBQ rub/ etc. Place chicken in Little George, set timer for about 65-70 minutes. Come back in an hour and serve. Delicious! Use for Leg of Lamb, ham etc. I leave it overnight to congeal drippings, throw away foil and meticulously clean all parts. This is my second -- first one lasted for 20 years -works fine. Gave it to kids.

After seveal years of use, TERRIBLE...
One of the worst kitchen appliances I have ever owned. At about year 3 of ownership this hit the trashcan. It made excessive noise from the first use, after being on for five minutes it would quiet down a bit. The worst part of this appliance was trying to keep it clean. It spits grease in every direction, dripped grease out of the lower pan, became impossible to clean the inside of the glass. Overall the interior is too small, and all of the seals have terrible tolerances, including the glass front, which allowed the unit to spit grease out, as an average size chicken is too close to the front and really every part of the unit. It became impossible to clean the exterior, making the appearance of the unit unacceptable.

I always liked this brand of rotisserie grill very much
I have moved and I wanted a new Baby Georgebecause my old one was used a lot during the years and it did not look very nice for a new house. But I just find out they have stopped to manufacture this one.Only used one was available. It arrived but it was broken on both sides. Packaging was perfect...So I bought a plastic welder machine to fix it. We will see if I can succeed... People, don't throw away your good stuff because its warn down until you are sure new ones are available to buy...

It's Easy
I bought this for my Mom this last Christmas and have had the opportunity to try it out myself. This unit is little, so if you have a family of 3 or more you may want to look at the bigger units. So far I've gotten to help fix a tenderloin and some hot dogs in this rotisserie. The Tenderloin was fantastic and the hotdogs tasted like I was at the ballpark (the best).I was especially impressed with the simple design and easy setup of this unit. Plus the extra touches like the sticky fit so you don't bump this little thing over.My biggest fear was that this would be a chore to clean up and boy was I wrong. Clean up is very easy as things are assembled so simplisticly (Kudos on the design) it's very easy to take the unit apart and clean and reassemble.I highly recommend this unit to anyboy looking at a rotisserie, this unit is great for singles or couples.

A bit small, but otherwise nice.
I'm a big fan of the Foreman grill and use that a lot so it was a no-brainer to order this rotisserie. I am single and have limited space, so a smaller version of the monster machines I've seen before seemed perfect. And in that respect, this does fit the bill. Fits on my counter (although I slide it out during use since you don't want all that heat under your cabinets! But didn't expect how much trouble I would have trying to keep the meat small enough to fit....even if it fits fine when you first put it in, once the grease starts dripping, things move all over! I use a ton of string on the chickens (smallest I can find in the store!) and they still tend to start banging into the bottom. Part of the problem is that it seems that the spit is closer to the bottom than the top, and of course gravity tends to pull things down anyway. Cleaning is also a bit of pain, lots of parts to clean afterwards and some don't EVER come clean no matter what you do (and I've only used it a few times!) Cleaning the inside of the glass door is near impossible without removing it (good luck getting it back on, I don't recommend it!) I assume these are common problems for rotisseries though, it's mainly the size I have a problem with. An inch or two more would have been ideal!Update: one solution I have found to the size is to just roast a full chicken breast, rather than the whole chicken. If you love the white meat like me, this is a great solution, no problems with even the largest breasts coming off. Haven't tried a turkey breast yet, but I imagine these would fit just fine as well! Only issue is that breasts are often a little pricier than cheap roasting chickens, and they can be a bit hard to find but for one or two people, this is a great alternative.Second Update - Well, I recently bought the Foreman contact roaster and I now use that much more often than this. It does almost as good a job roasting chicken, but is far easier and quicker to use and clean. You could do pot roasts and other items as well, so unless you really have a desire for a rotisserie that takes up a ton of counter space and is a pain to clean, you might want to check that item out instead.

Baby George rotisser
This is a little smaller then the Ronco small rotisserie, but as we live in our RV space is tight. It also has a wire lifter that makes getting the food in and out of the unit a lot easier then the Ronco gloves. It took several tries to get my chicken balanced on the spit, but when I did, it worked great and the clean-up was easy. It costs a bit more but is worth the extra as long. Have only done a chicken in it so far but is was great and a lot cheaper then buying store rotisserie chicken and you can do a bigger chicken then you get from the stores. It did take a bit of looking as a lot of sites that did have it are out or not carrying it any longer.
