I experimented with a few LED strips but decided to go with this one. Brackets came in the box (got a 5m length and got 8 brackets),and this worked PERFECTLY. About the same brightness as the original lighting, but less energy and weight, and it cycles RGB very nicely. You need the remote to change the settings - the default is super fast, but there's a "fade" setting that slowly cycles through the colors. The remote reaches through a thick pane of glass and a sheet of acrylic, but you gotta get close to it (I'm just happy it reaches at all, so not a minus from me).
