It starts off about 15m long and when you turn on the hose it automatically stretches to about 3 times the length. When you turn it off it contracts again. You can watch it slithering along the ground back to its shorter length. That really makes it much more convenient than the old type of hose. It has another advantage too. It is much lighter and easy to drag around, which it does without kinking. My old "professional" "kink-free" yellow hose kinks all the time and has an amazing knack of catching on absolutely anything as you drag it. Even if, being lighter and flimsier, this one doesn't last as long, it will be well worth it to buy another one for the effort and frustration it saves.The spray gun has the usual range of nozzles. It feels light and cheaply made of plastic but works well. The shower nozzle (the usual one for watering plants) will send the shower about 10 feet - much further than my much more expensive steel one - which suggests that either the hose of the gun is offering less resistance than my more expensive previous kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It will last forever! Truly amazing feat of modern chemical technology with latex.
