### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High standard book series.

I have been using Bond books at progressive level for my daughter, and she has benefited greatly from them. She goes to an Independent school, but supplementory teaching at home, has spurred her to do better and compete at a higher level. This needs diligence and commitment by the parent and the child. My daughter is now in the best senior school in the region, and until now is still doing well. It's a shame that the bond books do not extend to higher levels.Now I have started this with my son, who is of a different nature, a bit laid back and would prefer to play with his Lego building block. It was a bit of hard work at first, but now he too has got into the groove of the working regularly.  He too is doing well at school.I can't praise these series of books enough, and I'm glad I came across these series when my children were still in the junior school. I believe in a very strong foundation, and these books do precisely that. It has to be said that as a parent, one has to spend enough time, correcting and going over the wrong answers with your child. This pays dividend in the long run.

like the no nonsense approach of the Bond brand.  The only reward is seeing the results of hard work. No stickers or gold stars in these ones. I bought these to challenge my son as he is a bit ahead for his year and he enjoys the challenge. I bought them when he started in reception and has seen his confidence and knowledge grown. Good investment. Good practice for KS1 SATS and beyond
