Older and/or cheaper quality drill bits maybe a little smaller or larger then what is stamped on them and this drill guide has many holes that are slightly larger or smaller then most common sizes if needed. This guide is thinner [and more expensive] than other drill guide blocks making it more difficult to clamp to the work & it needs to be clamped tightly or or it may turn into a spinning piece of metal.
