Review: I use it everyday - I bought this tablet (or 2 in 1) about a month ago and I use it everyday. It looks sleek but feels great in your hand, it isn't heavy at all. The keyboard latch mechanism works perfectly and also looks pretty dang cool. The keyboard feels nice and sturdy, is easy to type on, and it has no problem holding up the heavier tablet part of the device. It does have a small amount of internal storage space (which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD) but it isn't so small that it's annoying right away. I have mine synced with my dropbox and one drive which contain a ton of PDFs and several songs and videos, plus I have several downloaded apps and I haven't had a problem with memory yet. Though the screen isn't HD, you probably won't notice. It's super sharp and bright, and will automatically adjust brightness to accommodate for the light you are in. The battery isn't quite as long as some other tablets, but I take it to work with me (where I occasionally have nothing to do) and it lasts me over seven hours with normal use. I have read a book on it for over 8 hours with no need to charge it, but it will drain faster if you are playing games and watching videos. Others have complained about it not turning on. A few times I have pushed the power button and the screen didn't turn on, but it always works if you just hold it down for a little bit. I have never had an issue with this. One drawback is that it lacks a rear facing camera, but most people have their phones for this anyway. The only major issue i have with it is the charger, it doesn't charge through the microUSB port, which they do to free it up so it can be used for other things, but then you have to take another charger with you! plus, on the one they sent me the prongs detach from the rest of it for some reason. I'm not going to compare this tablet to 800 dollar tablets and 2-in-1s and say that it's not as good, it's obvious that those have better specs. But if you are looking for a tablet in this price range, this is hard to beat. I use this device mostly as a tablet, and occasionally I use the keyboard to type emails and things. It works great for entertainment and as a second device for productivity, but I wouldn't replace my laptop with it if you need something to run large programs and type long papers. The 10 inch screen is perfect for most things, but I would get annoyed trying to write a 20 page paper on it. I am in graduate school and in addition to entertainment I use the tablet to read my PDFs (which is great because you can read them like books in an e-reader) and type emails, and use an organizer app to keep track of everything. But when I need to run SPSS statistics software or ArcGIS, I bust out the laptop. But if you are looking for a 2-in-1 that can run these kinds of programs, you are going to be dishing out 1200 dollars or so. This is a great device and so far I haven't noticed any issues with battery life or processing power. If you want a tablet or laptop but don't feel like paying ridiculous amounts of money to be able to do things that you don't need to do, this is the device for you.
Review: Worked well as a word/powerpoint machine for 3 years, but there are better options for the same price. - To preface this review, I'm writing this as a college student that has owned this device for the past 3 years. I have the 32GB model with 2GB of RAM. Overview: In 2015, I bought this laptop with the intention of using it as a basic Microsoft Word/Powerpoint machine. For the most part, it works well for basic tasks like word processing and web browsing; since it's a low-end laptop with 2GB of RAM, it is prone to occasional slowdowns on video/ad-intensive sites (citationmachine slows it to a crawl). Do not even think about using this for games, it's not going to happen. Since the screen is only 10-inches across, its small form factor makes it easy to lug around campus daily. The screen itself is nothing to write home about but it is adequate enough for indoor use. In the outdoors, however, the screen does not get very bright at 100%; this makes it hard to read on sunny South Florida mornings. One of my favorite features of this device has to be the inclusion of the mini-hdmi peripheral, which makes it possible to use an external monitor or TV as a secondary display. Speaking of the Keyboard, the keys are pretty quiet and suitable for in-class use. The trackpad is multi-touch and gesture enabled, so it's possible to do two-finger scrolling and three-finger gesture alt-tabbing. When detaching the keyboard from the screen, it makes a obnoxious "clack!" noise that is sure to make you famous for all the wrong reasons. The battery life for this laptop is great, it usually lasts 8 hours on a full charge. It should also be noted that the charger is a proprietary connector and is also incredibly short. Like others have mentioned, there is a hardware defect that makes it refuse to power on sometimes. My device has the defect too, however, it is usually remedied by plugging it into a wall socket before trying again. This is silly considering it is intended to be, y'know, a portable device. Would I Buy It Again? No. Although it worked well for the past three years, I find it hard to recommend this device to anyone else. The main attraction to the device has to be the low-price, but with the rise of ChromeOS and other budget 2-in-1 Windows Laptops, there is a lot of serious competition. There are many small annoyances too, for example: this model in particular also has common hardware defects, such as the random inability to power on. I also regret buying the 32GB model, as it is nearly impossible to download new software updates for Windows 10.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will it play HD Youtube videos at a decent speed without stopping to load?**
A: Yes, performance feels like it is a egular laptop

**Q: Does it have a SD memory card reader to transfer pictures from cameras?**
A: There are full-size SD card to USB adapters available for $2. SDHC card to micro-SD socket are expensive and hard to find.

**Q: How does it handle installed software?**
A: Everything I've installed has worked flawlessly, without slowing down the machine. Haven't tried anything too demanding like Indesign, but it's worked great for me.

**Q: Does this come with only one camera in the front or is there a second camera in the back also?**
A: It only comes with a camera in the front not the back which is the only disappointment I have with this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the price, it's hard to complain
*by K***T on March 14, 2015*

For the price, it's hard to complain. It's light, portable, has the detachable keyboard and is fully Windows 8. The lack of memory is an issue, but you can fix that with a 128gb SD card. I do with I had gotten the 64gb instead of the 32gb. With Windows 8 and all the bloat it comes with, I was at 16gb out of the box, and am now at 8gb with only a few things like MS Word installed. There are a few big bugs. One of them has to do with the detachable keyboard - if you don't eject it properly, Windows 8 will sometimes (most times) go wonky and you have to restart. This tends to happen if you detatch, then reatach the keyboard, such as if you are turning the screen around. The other big bug was the side-buttons. The windows 8 settings are not properly set from the factory, and these incorrect settings allows Windows 8 to turn the side-buttons off to conserve power... This had me pulling out my hair a bit as I was constantly having to restart the darn thing. To fix, go to Control Panel and Device Manager and click on all the items, going to properties and then Power Management and unchecking the box that says Allow Windows to Turn This Off To Conserve Power. All in all, though, it's a great little machine that I use for writing, and it serves its purpose well. It even plays Hearthstone, so that's a bonus.
