There are a ton of great third party controllers that are cheaper, better, or just cater to different preferences. Except you can't use any of them, save for the Dualsense and a few overpriced "pro" controllers, because Sony says so. Until now! I'm using this adapter with a Flydigi Vader 4 Pro on the PS5 and it works great, despite that controller not appearing on Brook's list of officially supported controllers. With the V4P's USB dongle it effectively becomes a wireless PS5 controller, with buttons seemlessly mapped to their logical Dualsense counterparts (even the touchpad button and the PS home button!). The "Share" button doesn't seem to work, but I never use that anyway, and it might be possible to configure it with the free software (I haven't tried).
